On July 4th at approximately 10:28 PM, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to Huntingtown in Calvert County to the 600 block of Walton Road for the structure fire. Tanker 2 immediately responded. While enroute, station 2 was alerted for the engine company, starting Engine 22 towards the scene.

Engine 22 was placed in service shortly after responding.

Tanker 2 arrived on scene and assisted with water supply dropping over 6,000 gallons of water to help battle the garage fire. Tanker 2 originally supplied Prince Frederick Tanker 2 with water before switching over and supplying Dunkirk Engine Company 5.

Tanker 2 operated on the scene for approximately 90 minutes before being released. The Maryland State Fire Marshal's’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
