On May 22nd at 1057PM, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to the 3000 block of Gallery Place in Waldorf for the structure fire. Squad 2 and Chief 2 responded from the scene of another fire. Engine 22 responded from quarters. First arriving units found fire showing from a Terrance apartment of a four story apartment building and requested the working fire assignment. Chief 2 arrived and assumed the incident command. Squad 2 conducted searches of the building above the fire. The fire was quickly brought under control. Hughesville units operated on the scene for approximately 90 minutes.
