On September 18th at approximately 8:20pm, Hughesville Volunteers had a citizen drive there vehicle to the station requesting assistance with a cat possibly trapped in the vehicle. Volunteers lifted and stabilized the vehicle and eventually located a cat the was above the rear axle. The cat was safely removed from the vehicle with no injuries.
