House Fire

At approximately 430pm, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to Vinessa Ct in Charlotte Hall, St Marys County for the structure fire. Engine 22, Chief 2A and Tanker 2 responded. Units were first arriving and found smoke showing. Chief 2A conducted a 360 walk around and discovered fire through the roof on side Charlie of the structure. Personnel quickly went to work and brought the fire under control in approximately 20 minutes. Units operated on the scene for approximately 90 minutes before clearing.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating and the American Red Cross is assisting.
