Fatal Motorcycle Collision

On Saturday July 22nd at approximately 822pm, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to Leonardtown Road and Huckleberry Drive for the motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle. Squad 2, Paramedic Ambulance 27, and EMS Chief 2A responded. Units arrived on the scene to find a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle. Paramedic Ambulance 27 attempted life-saving measures on the scene, however, the operator of the motorcycle succumbed to their injuries. The operator of the second vehicle was evaluated but signed a release on the scene. The scene was turned over to the Charles County Sheriff's Office and the Maryland State Police for investigation.

Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department would like to extend our condolences the the family and friends of the deceased.
