On August 17th at approximately 0100 hours, Hughesville Volunteers were alert to Prince Frederick in Calvert County for the house fire in the 4900 block of Sandy Point Road. Engine Tanker 2 and Tanker 2 made the response.

First arriving units from Prince Frederick arrived to find a working fire with fire in the garage that extended into the attic.

Hughesville units arrived and assisted with shuttling water to the fireground before being released.
