On June 25, 2020 at approximately 12:50 am, the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to 27630 Woodburn Hill Road in St. Mary's County to assist units from Mechanicville Volunteer Fire Department with a vehicle fire. Hughesville Engine 22 arrived on scene with a Telescopic Boom lift fully involved. Crew members on Engine 22 put a quick knock on the fire with assistance from Mechanicville Engine who arrived on scene just moments later.
