By Past President Jimmy Rose
November 30, 2017

The Charles County Volunteer Fire and EMS Departments are proud to announce our participation in the 2017 Marine Corps Reserve Toy for Tots Campaign. Our focus will be to provide new toys for our children who are less fortunate this Christmas Holiday.
We are asking for assistance from our citizens and business owners to donate new unwrapped toys of any age group simply by dropping them off at any fire or EMS department in Charles County.
Additional collection boxes are located throughout the county as follows:
 County Government Building 200 Baltimore Street, La Plata, MD
 Department of Emergency Services, 10425 Audie Lane, La Plata, MD
 Community Bank of Maryland (all branches)
All toys collected in Charles County will be distributed to families in our county.
The campaign runs through December 14, 2017 at which time toys given to those families on December 15th and December 16th.
With everyone’s help we CAN be certain all children in the community we live have smiles on their faces this holiday season.
