On September 22nd at approximately 8 pm, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to Olivers Shop Road in the area of Oaks Road for the vehicle fire. Engine 22 and Chief 2B made the response. Units arrived on scene to find a truck engulfed with flames. The crew extended the bumper line and extinguished the fire. The operator of the vehicle was uninjured. Units operated on the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
