A morning of serious auto accidents results in two MEDI-EVAC’s |

| At 0855hrs Station 2 was alerted to respond to Prince Frederick Rd and Benedict Ave for the auto accident with subjects trapped. E-22 & PA-28 responded and upon arrival found a two car accident. Upon checking the vehicles no one was found to be entrapped however, the injuries sustained by the driver of one of the vehicles required the patient to be flown to an area trauma center by Park Police Helicopter Eagle 2. The second driver was transported by Prince Frederick RS to a local hospital. Units operated on the scene for approximately 45 min. At approximately 1130hrs Sta. 2 was alerted for another subject trapped auto accident. This accident was at the intersection of Leonardtown Rd and Gallant Green Rd. E-22 and PA28 responded and upon arrival found a "T-Bone" style accident in the intersection with one person trapped. Engine 23 responded as well as Waldorf VFD RS-3 to assist in the extrication. Once extricated the patient was transport to the SMECO LZ and flown to an area trauma center. The second driver was transported to a local ER by PA609. |
