| At around 2310 hours Engine 22 was on the air in the first due area when they were advised by Communications to start towards the 9100 block of Trinity Church Road for the vehicle into a utility pole with unknown injuries. Engine 22 (Sgt. Doering) responded with 5 personnel. While approaching the scene Communications advised 22 that CCSO was on the scene and that they believe the driver had fled the scene on foot. Engine 22 arrived to find a utility pole split in half and on fire. The roadway was shut down and a search was started to locate the driver. No patient was found and the EMS units were placed in service. Engine 22 stayed on the scene until the arrival of SMECO and went ready at around 0040 hours. |
