| At around 2218 hours Engine Company 2 was alerted for the Chimney fire at 37640 Asher Road in St. Mary's Engine Co. 2 first due area. Engine 22 (Sgt. Doering) responded with 6 personnel within seconds of dispatch as the 3rd due Engine. St. Mary's Chief 2B arrived on the scene first and advised of a one story single family with fire from the chimney. St. Mary's Engine 23 arrived first and laid a line at the driveway for Engine 224 to pick up. E22 then arrived on scene and were given instructions to go to the Basement division and clean out the fire box. At that time Command held it with the units on the scene. Within 20 minutes E22 cleared the scene and went in service. |
