Motor Vehicle Collision

On July 19th at 11:26 PM Paramedic Ambulance 28 was alerted to Prince Frederick Road and Orchard View Rd for the motor vehicle collision in Benedict’s first due. Squad 2 was returning from another call and responded along with PA28. Squad 2 arrived on scene and discovered a two vehicle "T-Bone" style collision with heavy damage and established command. The crew quickly went to work and determined all occupants self extricated prior to arrival of Fire and EMS. Squad 2 assessed injuries and determined there were three occupants for transport. PA28 arrive on scene followed by Ambulance 58 and Engine 51 from Benedict VFD. Command requested an additional transport unit which brought Calvert Ambulance 48 to the scene. In total, three patients were transported by ground to an area trauma center for treatment of injuries. The scene was turned over to the Maryland State Police for investigation and units cleared the scene.
