On November 24th, just before 8 AM, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to the 11200 block of Barnswallow Pl in Waldorf for a structure fire. Engine 22 and Battalion Chief 2 responded.

Waldorf units arrived to find a three-story end-of-row townhouse with fire showing from Division 2.

A short time later Engine 22 arrived on scene and was assigned to the RIT team. Engine 22’s crew conducted a 360 walk around of the structure and staged in the front yard in case they were needed. Once the fire was brought under control Engine 22 was released by command.

Engine 22 and Battalion Chief 2 operated on the scene for approximately 30 minutes before clearing, immediately after clearing Engine 22 responded to a vehicle fire in Waldorf.
