On January 28th at approximately 0001 hours, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to the 40000 Block of Medleys Lane, in Mechanicsville, St Mary’s County for the structure fire. Squad 2 made the response. While responding the station was alerted for the Tanker, which was subsequently cancelled. Squad 2 arrived on the scene and staged at the request of Command. Squad 2 operated for approximately 45 minutes before being released.
