On 7-29-2003 at 1320Hrs. Hughesville Fire Department and Rescue Squad along with Dentsville EMS were alerted for a Motor Vehicle Collision in front of 14298 Oaks Road. Ambulance 28 and Squad 2 responded.

Ambulance 28 arrived on scene at 1327Hrs. and advised 2 vehicles with the roadway shut down. Upon further investigation it was determined a vehicle towing a trailer was involed. Squad 2 arrived on scene a short time later under the command of Scott Herbert ( Chief 2A ) and established command. Squad 2 cleaned debris from the roadway and secured one vehicle for towing. Ambulance 28 transported one patient with minor injuries to the hospital. The last unit cleared the scene at 1357Hrs.
