On February 15th at 0152 AM, Hughesville Volunteers we’re alerted to the 26000Block of Yowaski Mill Road in Mechanicsville for the barn fire. Tanker 2 made the response. Units arrived on scene to find a barn fully involved that collapsed on the ground shortly after. Units from Mechanicsville and surrounding departments extinguished the fire and performed overhaul. Tanker 2 dropped one load of water and was released from the scene. Tanker 2 operated for approximately 90 minutes.
