On Saturday Feb. 6th, 2010 after the Blizzard of 2010 had passed, Hughesville and surrounding companies were alerted to 8372 Old Leonardtown Road at the Hughesville Auto Body for the Building Collapse. Immediately after dispatch Squad 2(Dent), Engine 22(McPherson) and Utility 2(Carroll) were en-route with a total of 9 personnel. Units from Hughesville arrived on scene to find a single story "industrial" type building with a partial roof collapse. After investigation by the crew from Squad 2 and Engine 22 the remainder of the assignment was placed in service. Chief 2 stood by for SMECO and the Building Inspector.
