On 3/12/2024 at approximately 1405 hours, Hughesville Volunteers and surrounding departments were alerted to the 15300 block of Woodville Road for the structure fire. Chief 2A, Engine Tanker 2, Tanker 2 and engine 22 responded. Engine Tanker 2 and Chief 2A arrived to find the trailer portion of a tractor trailer fully involved. The trailer was being used as storage.

Engine Tanker 836 arrived and supplied Engine Tanker 2 with water while the crew assisted with extinguishment. Units operated on the scene for approximately 30 minutes.

HVFD would also like to thank Mechanicsville VFD for providing an Engine and Tanker to fill our station while units operated, ensuring the needs of our area were covered.
