On January 11th at approximately 0907 hours, Hughesville Volunteers and surrounding departments were alerted to the 5600 block of Ted Bolwing Rd for the house fire. Engine 22, Tanker 2, Engine Tanker 2 responded. Engine 22 arrived on scene to find a single story single family residence with smoke showing from all four sides. A working fire assignment was dispatched and crews made entry into the structure. The crews located a fire in one room then extended into the attic. The fire was quickly extinguished and units overhauled the structure. Units operated for approximately 2 hours before clearing.
