On July 16th at approximately 5:55 PM, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to the 1200 block of Addison Court in Waldorf for a Structure Fire. Squad 2 made the response. First arriving units from Waldorf arrived on scene to find a "working house fire". Squad 2 arrived shortly after as the first arriving special service. Squad 2 was assigned the search group. Squad 2 conducted a primary search with negative results. The crew from Squad 2 then assisted Waldorf VFD with ventilation and checking for exposures. Once the fire was out and the structure ventilated, Squad 2 covered the ventilation holes in the roof and was released from the scene.
