Overturned Vehicle

On June 16th at 10:12 am, Hughesville Volunteers along with surrounding departments were alerted to the 6300 block of Olivers Shop Road for the Motor Vehicle Collision involving an overturned Commercial Vehicle. Squad 2, Chief 2, Chief 2B, Paramedic Ambulance 28 responded. Squad 2, Chief 2B and Paramedic Ambulance 28 arrived to find a single vehicle collision involving an overturned septic truck leaking contents. Chief 2 arrived on assumed the command, assigning squad 2 to the recon group. Investigation revealed the contents leaking was potable water and the operator self extricated and was uninjured. Command scaled the assignment back to the units from Company 2. Squad 2 mitigated a small spill from engine fluids leaking from the truck and units cleared the scene.
