On May 21st at approximately 1155 hours, Squad 2 and Tanker 2 were alerted to the 6300 block of Hawkins Gate Road in La Plata for the structure Fire. The caller reported a vehicle on fire next to his garage. Both units responded.
Squad 2 arrived on scene just behind La Plata VFD. The crew found a vehicle fully involved with fire spreading to the garage. Squad 2 assisted with extinguishment and overhaul of the fire. Tanker 2 arrived right behind Squad 2 and supplied La Plata Engine 12 with water. Units operated for approximately 60 minutes before being released from the scene.
