Extrication Crash

On April 21st at approximately 8:30 am Hughesville Volunteers and surrounding departments were alerted to the 14000 block of Oaks Road for the motor vehicle collision with subjects trapped. Squad 2 and Paramedic Ambulance 28 made the response. Squad 2 arrived to find a single vehicle collision with the operator impailed by a fence post and trapped in the vehicle. Squad 2 quickly removed the door to the vehicle, gained access to the patient, cut the post and then removed the patient from the vehicle. Paramedic Ambulance 28 assessed the patient and determined the patient needed to be transported to a trauma center. Trooper 7 responded to handle the transport. Engine 151 handled the landing site and the remaining units were placed in service.

Isn't that the second impalement on oaks road in the last week or so. Hope the person is okay
