On October 10th at 7:59 AM, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to Poplar Hill Road and Zeemar Pl, in Waldorf, for the motor vehicle crash with subjects trapped. Squad 2 responded to the scene. While responding, Waldorf VFD arrived on scene to find a single vehicle collision with people trapped. Squad 2 arrived on scene and immediately went to work assisting Waldorf. Squad 2’s crew removed the “B” post on the passenger side along with the passenger door and seat to free the trapped driver. After the extrication was complete, the patient was moved to waiting EMS units. The patient was transported to an area trauma center for treatment of injuries.
