On August 10th at 0208 AM, Hughesville Volunteers responded to Leonardtown Road in the area of Bryantown Road for the motor vehicle collision. Engine 24 and Paramedic Ambulance 2 responded. Units arrived to find a two vehicle rear end style collision. The occupant of one of the vehicles had serious but non life threatening injuries. A helicopter was requested to transport the occupant. Maryland State Police Aviation responded to conduct the transport. Engine Tanker 2 responded to the Bryantown Sports Complex to handle the landing site. The occupant was transferred to the helicopter for transport to the hospital and units cleared the scene.
