| I wish to express my sincere gratitude towards the generosity of everyone that has reach out and donated to the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department for one of our members and their family, who tragically lost their house to a fire on Friday. We are overwhelmed with the clothing and toys so graciously donated. Moving forward, we encourage you to direct any further donations to a local neighborhood or church charity who also need many items. Monetary donations will continue to be accepted through the GoFundMe set up by the the husband's union (IAFF) for the family. The brotherhood of the Fire, EMS, & Police communities have been amazing in every way. To our local community, thank you and we will reach out if there are any other needs for this family in the future. James Harris |
