At 4:40 AM Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to Prince Frederick Road and Orchard View for the motor vehicle collision involving a horse. Squad 2 and Paramedic Ambulance 28 responded along with Benedict Volunteers. Units arrived to find a single vehicle had struck two horses in the roadway. Both horses were deceased on the scene. State Police handled the investigation.
