At 1:18 PM Hughesville Volunteers were dispatched to Leonardtown Road and Webb’s Place for the motor vehicle collision. Squad 2 and Paramedic Ambulance 38 responded to the scene. Squad 2 arrived to find a single vehicle collision involving a sling shot. The operator of the sling shot indicated there was a mechanical problem which caused her to exit the roadway and strike the guardrail. The operator was transported with minor injuries to a local hospital.
