On January 5th, 2021 at 9:43 PM, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted to the 29900 Block of Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville for the structure fire. Engine 22 responded and arrived on the scene simultaneously with Mechanicsville Engine 23. Units arrived to find nothing evident and upon entry discovered a sparking electrical plug with no extension. Engine 22 was placed in service on the scene by St. Mary’s Chief 2.
