On January 4th 2021 at 819AM, Hughesville Volunteers were alerted for mutual aid to St Mary's County at Three Notch Road and Golden Beach Road for the motor vehicle collision with subjects trapped. Squad 2, Paramedic Ambulance 28 and Ambulance 27 made the response. Units arrived on scene just after Mechanicsville VFD to find a two vehicle collision with one vehicle overturned. Mechanicsville VFD placed Squad 2 in service on the scene. Paramedic Ambulance 28 and Ambulance 27 treated and transported patients with non life threatening injuries from the collision scene to local area hospitals.
