On August 29, 2020 at approximately 4:59pm, the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department was alerted by Charles County Fire Dispatch of a Motor Vehicle Collision in the 4600 block of Gallant Green Road. Rescue Squad 2, Paramedic Ambulance 28 and EMS Utility 2 arrived on scene and observed a single truck with a trailer attached, off the road and into a tree. Squad 2 determined the driver was able to self extricate themselves prior to emergency services arrival. The driver was evaluated by Paramedic Ambulance 28 and EMS Utility 2.
