On Friday July 3, 2020 at approximately 3:11pm, volunteers from the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of Burnt Store Road and Old Leanardtown Road for a Motor Vehicle Collision with entrapment. Rescue Squad 2 arrived on scene within minutes and performed a quick "door pop" to extricate the patient. Hughesville Paramedic Ambulance 28 and Waldorf Ambulance 39 transported the patients to local area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
