On Tuesday June 30, 2020 at approximately 7:32pm, volunteers from the Hughesville Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to 5957 Brandywine Road for a Motor Vehicle Accident reported as a head on collision with multiple patients. Rescue Squad 2 along with Hughesville Volunteer Ambulance 27 arrived on scene and found two vehicles in the middle of the road with bystanders rendering aid to one patient near the guardrail. Patient assessment was completed and three out of the four were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
