On June 16th, 2020 at 8:15 pm, Hughesville Volunteers along with Waldorf Volunteer EMS and Charles County Department of Emergency Services were alerted to Leonardtown Road and Trotter Road for the motor vehicle collision reported as the vehicle overturned. Chief 2, Squad 2 and Paramedic Ambulance 28 responded. Units arrived on scene and confirmed a single vehicle collision with the vehicle overturned. The operator of the vehicle was pronounced deceased on the scene and the scene was turned over to the Maryland State Police for further investigation.
