First Due Shed Fire

On March 15th Engine Company 2 and Tanker 2 were alerted to respond to 3683 Watson Road for a reported shed fire. Engine 22 responded with five personnel and Tanker 2 shortly after staffed with two personnel. Units arrived on scene to find a 15' x 20' shed fully involved. The shed fire was threatening a nearby dwelling so Engine 22's crew and the crew from Engine Tanker 836 deployed attack lines extinguishing the fire and protecting the dwelling. Truck 3 and Squad 840 checked the attic for extension finding no damage on the interior of the house. The crew from Rescue Engine 52 established a RIT team and Engine 11 proceeded to the Watson Road dry hydrant to fill tankers while remaining units level 2 staged. Chief 3A arrived on location and held the Watson Road command. Units returned to service as assignments were completed and salvage & overhaul operations were complete.
