Bridgett Lane - Structure Fire

At 1735 Hours on Saturday November 1st, Squad 2 and Tanker 2, along with multiple surrounding companies, responded to a reported structure fire located on Bridgett Lane in Laplata, MD. Squad 2 arrived on location first and immediately initiated fire attack with Squad 2's pre-connected 200ft 1 3/4" attack line in an effort to knock down and slow the growth of the fire in the home until an engine arrived. Truck 1 arrived on location and immediately deployed ground ladders and laddered the structure, then conducted Search & Rescue Operations. Engine 143 arrived shortly after Truck 1 and deployed an attack line to continue fire attack. Squad 2's crew then switched roles and conducted a Secondary search and overhaul operations along with Truck 1. After operating for an estimated 4 hours on the fire ground, Squad 2 was released and returned to quarters. Tanker 2 was released shortly after.
