Ryceville Road House Fire

At approximately 1206hrs Hughesville VFD (3rd due Engine) was alerted to respond to the 13000 Block of Ryceville Road (Co. 14's area) for the reported house fire. Engine 23 responded at dispatch with a crew of four. Chief 1B (Kaufmann) was first arriving and reported a working basement fire. Engine 23 arrived next and assumed the first due Engine Co.'s duties. The engine crew along with crews from La Plata (Truck 1) and Mechanicsville (Engine 23) initiated the initial attack. Units cleared the scene around 1530hrs.
